Does anyone have a rear-lower tie bar? How do you like it?

Actually, what I meant was. . .does it make a big difference on handling? When I added a rear strut-tower bar, I noticed that there was a lot less body flex. I'm just wondering if a lower tie bar will be as noticeable.

Save your money. For the minimal difference that it MIGHT make it's not worth what they charge for those things. If you really want to enhance your cars cornering, upgrade the rear sway bar. That will make a HUGE difference.

I had a DC Sports lower tie bar and it didn't do much except look cool... I took it out when I put my rear sway bar in... wouldn't fit.

"Registry" on this board is going to sell me his Comptech bar, which is supposed to clear my swaybar. The mounting on this bar is supposedly better than others; it requires drilling holes into the body and has a more solid mounting scheme. Maybe an improvement. I'll report back to this thread.

In a nutshell; there's better ways to spend $129.

I have a Neuspeed lower tie bar on my Del Sol... I was quite pleased with the additional performance. I also purchased the sway bar from them at the same time... the two parts together made a night/day difference in the way the car responded to steering input... simply sharper.

the comptech bar is by far one, if not the stiffiest bar out there . it uses 4 bolts on each side to connect to the underside of the subframe(does require drilling). this keeps it out of the way of any sway bars or hardware . you can look up the ins. for it at comptech's web site . i had the neuspeed bar...didnt like it . it bolted up with the rear arm pivots, required modification of abs brackets and was a bitch to get their bolts in . my neuspeed bar i am now trying to get rid of...any takers ?
